Bangladeshi Hajj stampede death toll 67
Dhaka: The death toll of Bangladeshi pilgrims from the Mina stampede reached to 67, said Bangladesh Hajj Mission works in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier on 8 October, the Hajj mission said the death toll may increase as the pilgrims injured in the accident were in critical condition.
However, around 140 Bangladeshi pilgrims are still missing in the stampede incident.
A horrific stampede killed at least 769 pilgrims and injured hundreds more on the outskirts of the holy city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia on 24 September, the deadliest tragedy to strike the annual hajj pilgrimage in more than two decades.
