Three burnt bodies found at Mirpur ‘militant den’

Dhaka: Three burnt bodies were found at a room of the building at Darus Salam in Mirpur suspecting as militant hideout, where the law enforcers have been conducting drive since Monday night.
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) media wing Director Mufti Mahmud during a press briefing at about 12:45pm said a team of Fire Service and Civil Defence, RAB’s Dog Squad and Bomb Disposal Unit resumed operation at the building at about 8:45am. The law enforcers conducted search operation at the first to fifth floor of the building and found three bodies in a room of the fifth floor.
Primarily, it has been assumed that the explosions took place at fifth floor, said the RAB official.
However, Mufti Mahmud did not disclose the identities of the bodies. He said, the operation is still going on. Details about the operation will be briefed later.
