Feni BNP leader Mizanur dies; Khaleda Zia condoles death

Advocate Syed Mizanur Rahman, vice-president of Feni district unit BNP, died at a city hospital on Tuesday. He was 52.
Mizanur, also Feni Sadar upazila unit BNP president, breathed his last at United Hospital at noon, reports the UNB.
Meanwhile, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia expressed deep shock at his death.
In a condolence message, she recalled Mizanur’s role in strengthening Feni district and Sadar upazila units of BNP and bringing dynamism in the party.
She also said Feni district unit BNP lost a competent, active and devoted leader with his death.
Khaleda prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed her sympathy to the bereaved family members.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, vice-chairmen Mohammad Shahjahan and Abdul Awal Mintoo also condoled his demise.
