BD preparing to hold OIC FMs meet in May
The government has started taking necessary preparations to hold the 45th session of Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC here on May 5-6 next.
As part of the preparation, an inter-ministerial meeting will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday, reports the BSS.
Secretary-Bilateral (Asia & Pacific) Mahbub Uz Zaman will preside over the meeting, an official said.
Various issues, including media, publicity and publication issues, will be discussed at the meeting.
Earlier this month, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen met Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and discussed further cooperation with Bangladesh, including the preparation over the 45th session of Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the OIC.
