Bogura: Police recovered the throat-slit bodies of four people from a paddy field at Dubil in Shibganj upazila of Bogura on Monday.
Two of the deceased are Shahabul, in his thirties, a beetle-leaf vendor and Zakaria, around 32 years old, a painter, of Katgara village in the upazila while the identities of the others could not be known yet.
Locals spotted the bodies in the area around 10:00am and informed police, said additional police super Sonatan Chakravarty.
The hands of the bodies were tied up with rope, he said.
