Follow righteous path offered by Quran: Nahid

Dhaka: Citing the Holy Quran’s teachings as a code of life, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Wednesday urged all to lead their lives following the fair, truthful and righteous path as shown in the Quran.
‘We have an utter lack of social values in our lives, and injustices prevailing here can only be prevented once we can lead our lives as per the directives of the holy Quran,’ the minister said while addressing the Grand Finale of Hifzul Quran (Quran Recitation Competition) program organized by Quraner Alo Foundation at a city hotel as chief guest.
Md Mosharrof Hossain Bhuiya, Chairman of National Board of Revenue, Niaz Rahim, Director of Rahimafrooz Group, Ashfak Uddin Ahmed, Director of NTV and Hafez Maolana Abu Eusuf, Chairman of Quraner Alo Foundation, also spoke on the occasion while Chairman of PHP Group Sufi Mizanur Rahman was in the chair.
Four selected competitors took part in the Grand Finale.
