Khaleda Zia’s adviser Muktadir sent to jail

Sylhet: A court here on Thursday sent BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s adviser Khandaker Abdul Muktadir and three other BNP men to jail in a sabotage case.
Sylhet Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Mustain Billah passed the order after police produced them before his court, reports the UNB.
An hour after the maiden rally of Jatiya Oikyafront, Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested Muktadir from in front of Rose Valley Hotel in the city around 6:30pm on Wednesday as he went there to meet the party’s senior leaders.
Later, Muktadir was shown arrested in a case filed with Kotwali Police Station on October 15 in connection with an attack on police from a rally of Swechchhasebak Dal.
