Search for cops’ firearms begins in Dhaleswari
Munshiganj: Divers of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defence on Thursday morning kicked off a search in the Dhaleswari River to recover the three firearms of police that went missing during an accident, reports UNB.

said the divers started the search at about 10:00am.
Earlier on Wednesday night, a trawler carrying four members of river police capsized in the Dhaleshwari River at Muktarpur in Sadar upazila after being hit by a lighterage ship.
Three firearms of the policemen also went missing during the accident.
The policemen were patrolling the river in the trawler.
