Chuadanga cattle trader killed in bomb attack
Chuadanga: A cattle trader was killed and nine others were injured when miscreants hurled bomb at their utility vehicle at Madhukhali in Alamdanga upazila in Chaudanga on Thursday night.
The deceased is Bhulu Hossain, son of Rabiul Islam of Natidanga village in the upazila.
Quoting victims, police said a gang of miscreants hurled bomb at a Nosimon, a utility vehicle used for public transpot, carrying some cattle traders at about 9:30pm, leaving Bhuli dead on the spot and nine others injured.
The injured were taken to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
Police said the cattle traders hired the utility vehicle for returning to their home from Shialmari cattle market in Jibonnagar upazila after selling cattle.
One of the injured claimed the miscreants also snatched Tk 6lakhs from them.
Rashidul Hasan, superintendent of Chuadanga Police, visited the hospital.
