Quit teaching, Edu minister urges teachers leaking question papers
Dhaka: Urging the teachers involved in the incidents of question paper leak to quit teaching, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Wednesday said every one of those committing such crimes will be brought to justice.
The minister came up with the warning while addressing a press conference at his office over the steps taken to maintain law and order during the HSC and equivalent examinations scheduled to begin on 2 April.
Question papers of some public examinations were leaked in the past but the incidents did not come in the limelight as the number of media outlets was very limited at that time, Nurul Islam Nahid said.
He also urged journalists to come forward and give the government information about the incidents of question leak.
Replying to a query, Nurul Islam said those involved in such the process such incidents have already been identified and they will be held soon.
