PM flies to Vienna to join IAEA conference
Dhaka: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on a two-day official visit, left Dhaka for Vienna, Austria on Monday to attend the conference of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The prime minister left Dhaka by a special Biman flight in the morning.
The Prime Minister will attend the opening session of the conference titled ‘Conference on the IAEA Technical Cooperation Programme: 60 years and Beyond- Contributing to Development’ on 30 May.
During the visit, she is scheduled to hold official talks with Austrian Federal Chancellor Christian Kern and meet Austrian Federal President Alexander Van Der Bellen.
The Prime Minister is also set to hold a meeting with the Director General of IAEA Yukiya Amano.
She will join an Iftar programme and community event in the afternoon at Grand Hotel.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to return home in the morning on 31 May.
