Indian Navy rescues 32 Bangladeshis from Bay
Indian Navy officials rescued 32 Bangladeshis and recovered a body from the Bay of Bengal at Moheshkhali on Wednesday morning.
All rescued people are the residents of Maheshkhali, according to the sources at Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
Indian Navy rescued the Bangladeshi citizens when they were on board of two boats floating on the Bay, the sources added.
The rescued people might have been washed away in the sea during the severe cyclonic storm ‘Mora’ that made landfall in Bangladesh’s Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar coastal areas on Tuesday morning.
