President home ending Vietnam tour
Dhaka: President Abdul Hamid on Thursday evening returned home, wrapping up his four-day state visit to Vietnam.
A flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:15pm.
Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, the dean of the diplomatic corps, the chiefs of the three services and high civil and military officials received the President.
President Abdul Hamid left Ho Chi Minh, the southern city of Vietnam, at 12:30pm (local time) for Singapore through a flight of Singapore Airlines.
After a stopover in Singapore, the President flew to Dhaka through a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight. In the flight, Abdul Hamid exchanged pleasantries with the passengers onboard.
