PM digitally clears 13 files from UK
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now in London to join the 25th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), has digitally cleared 13 urgent files.
‘Despite her busy schedule in London, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is running office digitally and disposing files regularly,’ PM’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told reporters here.
After reaching London on April 17 to attend the CHOGM, the prime minister has so far cleared 13 important electronic files (e-files) related to the Purchase Committee, the Energy Ministry and the Public Safety Division under the Home Ministry.
The Press Secretary said the Prime Minister has earlier instructed her office to send all the important files to her during her stay in the UK.
‘Following the directives, officials concerned at the Prime Minister’s Office emailed urgent files to the premier, taking the advantage of the digitisation initiatives of the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,’ he added.
