‘Primarily, the disciplinary committee suggested expelling a student and suspending six others for different terms for assaulting Ehsan Rafiq. But, the final decision will be taken at the syndicate meeting,’ he said, adding that their expulsion from the dormitory was also recommended.

The committee recommended expelling Md Omar Faruk of Marketing department and suspending Samiul Islam Sami of Sociology, Ahsan Ullah of Philosophy, Md Ruhul Amin Bepari of Mass Communication and Journalism, Md Mahedi Hasan Himel of Urdu and Fardin Ahmed Mughdho of Public Administration department for two years. All of them are leaders of BCL Salimullah Muslim Hall unit.
