New Delhi: Zanco tiny t1 is world’s smallest fully functional mobile phone. Smaller than your thumb and lighter than a coin, the phone is listed on Kickstarter campaign. The feature phone measures 46.7x21x12mm and weighs 13 grams.

The feature phone is capable of calling and sending text messages. It comes with a 0.49-inch OLED display and alphanumeric keypad. The device comes with single nano SIM support and can store up to 300 contacts in the phonebook. Along with this, the device can also store 50 SMS and last 50 outgoing/incoming calls in the call log.

The Zanco tiny t1 is powered by a MediaTek MTK6261D processor clubbed with 32MB of RAM and 32MB of internal storage. The device packs a 200mAh battery and it promises to deliver three days of standby time and 180 minutes talk time. The feature phone also offers connectivity options 2G, Bluetooth and Micro USB. The listing page also reveals that the tiny t1 is a quad-band phone and it will be available for 2G band frequencies - 850/1900 and 900/1800. Users will not be able to access internet using the phone. The bottom of the phone houses a loudspeaker and mic.

The company is running a Super Early Bird offer in which it has priced the device at 30 euros. The phone will be shipped to most of the countries and the process of shipping will start in May next year.

In an official blog post, the company said, ‘Zanco tiny t1 is great as a backup on a night out and any occasion where you don’t want to carry a bulky phone but still want the reassurance of staying connected.’
