Mashrafe to play with fans, journalists
Dhaka: Bangladesh cricket team ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will play cricket with his fans and journalists at Scholastica Indoor Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
The most inspirational national one-day side captain and iconic cricketer of Bangladesh, Mashrafe will play four matches where three-over will be played in each match.
The 33-year old Narail Express will also have a session there to tell the tale to his fans and journalists that how he grew-up and become a celebrity cricketer.
Beside, he will share about the contemporary topics of cricket with journalists in the programme, organised by Lava International, a multinational mobile phone set manufacturing company.
The first genuine pace bowler of Bangladesh, Mashrafe is very much popular among the cricket fraternity for his will power to continue with national side, recovering the knee injuries. He had undergone surgery for seven times on his leg, knees and ankles.
Mashrafe started his career with national side in November 2001 and so far played 36 Tests, 179 ODIs and 54 T20Is.
Mashrafe captained Bangladesh Test side in one match, 37 ODIs and in 26 T20Is. Under his captaincy, Bangladesh tasted one win in Test format, 23 wins in ODI and 9 wins in T20I format.
