Arjun Tendulkar selected in Mumbai U-19 squad

Mumbai, India: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, was named in the Mumbai Under-19 squad for the upcoming JY Lele India Under-19 Invitational One-Day Tournament, to be played in Baroda.
Arjun, a left-arm fast bowler unlike his father, is also a handy batsman but he is known more for his bowling skills.
He has represented Mumbai at the Under-14 and Under-16 levels earlier, reports Hindustan Times.
The JY Lele India Under-19 Invitational One-Day Tournament will be held from September 16-23, reported DNA.
Arjun has also spent a lot of time in London playing cricket, and was in news recently after nearly knockeing down a prominent England batsman while helping the team train for the start of the Test series against South Africa.
It was a nasty yorker delivery from the left-arm young fast bowler that landed right on England wicketkeeper-batsman Jonny Bairstow’s foot, which forced the batsman to wobble out from the nets and seek medical assistance.
Arjun was also spotted during India Women’s training session in London, ahead of their ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 final against England.
