Cutter master Mustafiz turns 21
Dhaka: Bangladeshi bowling sensation Mustafizur Rahman turned 21 on Tuesday.
The cutter master, popularly known as ‘Fizz’, was born in Satkhira on September 6 in 1995.
Mustafiz, who started his career in international cricket through a T20 match against Pakistan in Dhaka on April 2015, also played for Bangladesh U-19 team, Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL, English county team Sussex in NatWest T20 Blast apart from Dhaka Abahani Ltd and Khulna Division in domestic cricket.
Left arm medium pacer Fizz is the lone cricketer to take 11 wickets in his first two ODI matches against India in Dhaka in June last year.
Mustafiz made his English county campaign memorable taking four wickets for 23 runs for Sussex against Essex in July this year in the NatWest T20 Blast.
He was also included in the ICC best eleven last year.
Mustafiz played a vital role in making Sunrises Hyderabad champions in the prestigious Indian Cricket League (IPL) this year where he was adjudged the best promising player.
Mustafizur Rahman is a left-arm pace bowler, who came to Dhaka to try out for a fast-bowling camp in 2012, after he had impressed an Under-17 tournament in Satkhira.
Later, he got admitted to the BCB's pace foundation and soon caught the coaches' attention to make the Bangladesh Under-19 side for the 2014 World Cup.
