Tamim hits 7th ODI century
Dhaka: Bangladesh cricket team’s dashing opener Tamim Iqbal hit his 7th ODI century during the 3rd match of a three-match series against Afghanistan at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Saturday.
Tamim completed his century mission with a single runs off Dawlat Zadran's bowling when the Tigers' were batting on 189/2 in 36.1 overs. Tamim faced 109 balls and featured 10 boundaries to reach the century mark.
In the 1st match of the first-ever bilateral series between Bangladesh and Afghanistan, Tamim scored 80 off 98 balls on the way to Bangladesh's seven-run victory at the same venue on Sunday last (Sept 25).
