7 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi cylinder blast
Seven Bangladeshis, including two siblings, were killed as a gas cylinder exploded in their room at Ha’il of Saudi Arabia early on Wednesday.
Three of the deceased were identified as Emranul Haque Sohel, in his thirties, his brother Imamul Haque Munna, in his twenties, of Basantapur village in Chouddagram upazila, and Md Sohel Rana, around 30 years old, of Sreepur village in the upazila, reports the UNB.
Of the other unidentified deceased, one hailed from Feni and the rest two from Noakhali.
Victims’ families said the Bangladeshi workers went to sleep in their room on Tuesday night as usual, and the gas cylinder went off in the early hours of today, killing them on the spot.
