Sangsad Bhaban: A bill, titled ‘Sheikh Hasina University Bill-2018’, was passed in Parliament on Sunday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid moved the bill and it was passed by voice vote.

According to the proposed bill, the establishment of the university in Netrakona will help improve the education, research, training and extension of different topics at graduate and post-graduate and different tiers of higher education.
