Dialogue after Nov 7 not possible: Quader
Dhaka: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader on Saturday said it will not be possible for the ruling party to continue dialogue with any political party after November 7.
‘It won’t be possible to hold dialogue for long as we’re already scheduled to hold dialogue with 14-party on November 4 and Jatiya Party on November 5,’ he said, reports the UNB.
Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, said this while talking to reporters after paying homage to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the four martyred national leaders at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road No 32 in Dhaka, commemorating the Jail Killing Day.
‘If anyone secretly crafts plots to carry out subversive acts ahead of the national election even after taking part in the dialogue, we want to warn them that we’re ready to deal with the situation … we’ll give a befitting reply to those,’ the minister also said.
He pointed out that the killings on August 15, August 21 and November 3 were committed by the same evil forces.
Prime Minister Sheikh held a dialogue with Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiya Oikyafront on Thursday while with Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury-led Jukta Front on Friday.
