Dhaka: Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) Mohammad Abdul Mannan has received the Sardar Patel award 2016 from Her Highness Rajmata Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad, Chancellor of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India.  

Professor Parimal H. Vyas, Vice-Chancellor of the University, Sri DT Barki, Green Oscar award winner and Samiji Jaganmohan Krishna Dasa, President of Akshaya Patra foundation were present during the ceremony on Friday.

The award was handed over during the inaugural ceremony of the two-day long 1st World Economic and Sports Conference in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
