GTCB, BEI ink partnership on social development

Dhaka: Grant Thornton Consulting Bangladesh (GTCB) and Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI) have entered into a collaboration agreement to enhance their complementary competencies and capabilities in the field of social policy and development consulting services.

GTCB is a member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, one of the world’s leading professional service organisations with over 40,000 Grant Thornton people, across 130 countries. Grant Thornton Consulting focuses on a range of advisory services including social policy, organisational development, human resource management, governance, risk and compliance, corporate finance and technology.

BEI is a non-profit research centre and focuses on foreign policy and security, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, migration and development, media liberalisation, financial inclusion and leveraging the diaspora.

BEI president Farooq Sobhan and GTCB managing director Dewan Nurul Islam signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Grant Thornton advisory services global leader Nigel Ruddock said, ‘We are extremely pleased with the initiatives Grant Thornton Consulting Bangladesh has taken to collaborate with organisations which strengthen its image and its service delivery capacity.’
