Siddikur shares top slot in World Classic Golf

Dhaka: Bangladeshi ace golfer Siddikur Rahman shared the top slot with Nicholas Fung of Malaysia in the maiden World Classic Championship after the 3rd round at Laguna National Golf and Country Club in Singapore on Saturday.

Siddikur scored overall 2-under par 211 (71, 71, 69) after playing five birdies and three bogeys in the 3rd round.

On his way to five birdies mastery, Siddikur took three strokes for each put in the 1st, 5th and 8th holes of the first session while put the 12th and 13th holes in the 2nd session taking 4 and 3 strokes respectively.

Siddikur made 3 bogeys playing 1 over par in each put in the 2nd, 11th and 16th holes.

Nicholas Fung followed Siddikur scoring overall 2-under par 211 (74, 67, 70) playing 4 birdies and 3 bogeys in the 3rd round.
