Mahmudullah suffers back injury

Dhaka: Bangladesh cricket team dependable middle order batsman Mahmudullah Riyad suffered a strain on his back muscles during the Tigers conditioning camp in Mirpur on Sunday.
The all-rounder was sent to Apollo Hospital in the capital immediately after he suffered the injury while lifting weight at BCB Academy Gymnasium. The wound caused severe pain.
On completion of the preliminary report, the level of the injury will be known whether the wound is minor or major.
The Tigers started their tenacious fitness camp on July 10 ahead of the Test series against Australia at home and for an away series in South Africa under the supervision trainer Mario Villavarayan.
Mahmudullah made his debut for national side in July, 2007 and played so far 33 Tests, 145 ODIs and 58 T20Is.
