Update: 26 July, 2018, 15:19

The Windies are set for a full tour of Bangladesh, which includes two Tests, three one-day internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals, in November and December.

The visitors are set to arrive on 15 November and play a two-day tour match before the first Test in Chittagong from 22 November. The action then shifts to Dhaka for the second Test, reports icc-cricket.com.

All the limited-overs matches are set to be day-night affairs.

This is the Caribbean side’s first bilateral tour of the country since 2012-13, when they won the Test series 2-0 and the one-off T20I, but lost the ODI series.

The teams are currently facing off in the West Indies, with the hosts having taken the honours in the Tests and the visitors well placed in the ODIs.

Bangladesh will host Zimbabwe and the West Indies for back-to-back series, a senior Bangladesh cricket official said on Thursday. Zimbabwe were originally scheduled to visit in January 2019 but the cricket board brought forward the tour to October avoid any potential clash with national elections.

Bangladesh announced on Wednesday that the West Indies would arrive on November 15 for their first full tour to the country since 2012. ‘Apart from the West Indies, we’ve also confirmed the Zimbabwe series in October,’ said BCB chief executive officer Nizamuddin Chowdhury, reports news18.com.

‘They (Zimbabwe) will play two Tests and three ODIs. It means we will now play back-to-back series this year.’ The West Indies series will include two Tests, three one-day internationals and three twenty20 internationals between November and December. The Zimbabwe tour dates have not yet been announced.
