Dhaka: Bangladesh National Cricket team left Dhaka today for Ireland to take part in a Tri-Nation ODI series scheduled to be held at the different venues in Dublin of Ireland from May 5 to May 17.

Several team members uploaded their last photos on siocila media before the departure.

Host Ireland, Bangladesh and West Indies will take part in the Round Robin League basis competition. The top two teams of the league will face each other in the final on May 17.

Bangladesh will take on West Indies in their first match on May 7. Bangladesh will face Ireland in their second match on May 9. Bangladesh will meet West Indies in their third match on May 13. Bangladesh will play against Ireland in their fourth match on May 15.

The players selected for the Tri-Nation ODI series are: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah Riyad, Shakib Al Hasan (Vice-Captain), Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Jayed, Nayeem Hasan, Yasir Ali, Taskin Ahmed and Farhad Reza.

Bangladesh will compete in the Tri-Nation ODI series in Ireland as a preparation for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup. The World Cup will be held in England and Wales from May 30. A total of 10 teams will take part in the tournament.
