Bangladesh to be benefitted if match curtailed

Cyclone Marcia is now ravaging Brisbane. According to weather forecast, there can be heavy rain on Saturday. So, there is an uncertainty in the Bangladesh-Australia match being played. If the match rolls into the ground, it will be better to be a ‘curtailed’ one. It will be an advantage for Bangladesh as there is possibility of winning the match for both sides

I always wish for Bangladesh victory. It will be great if the win emanates against Australia! But it is really difficult to beat Australia in their own ground. Also, there is a big difference in the strength of the two teams.

Tigers are now in Brisbane with the joy of beating Afghanistan in Canberra. The spirit of the win will help Bangladesh to fight with Australia in Brisbane.

Our batsmen have to go through a hard struggle as they have to face the pace of Australian seamers in their familiar condition. Australia have pacers like Mitchell Johnson, Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood. It is really hard for any team to tackle them. Among them, Mitchell Marsh bagged five wickets in the first match against England.

But it is possible for Shakib, Mushfiq and others to do well if they become a little bit careful. Everyone has to give his best. Always it has to be kept in mind that Australia is stronger than Afghanistan. That is why it is needed to play far better than the previous match.

Our bowlers performed well in the previous match. I hope they will keep their consistency. But the fielders have to be more careful. No chances should be missed, let alone missing a catch.

Shakib dropped an easy catch in the last match. Bangladesh may lose the match against Australia if something like this happens on Saturday. In this type of match, a batsman can change the game if he gets ‘life’ once.
