Siddikur finishes joint 38th in Myanmar Open

Dhaka: Famed Bangladeshi golfer Siddikur Rahman placed joint 38th with five other players in the Leopalace21 Myanmar Open at Royal Mingalardon Golf and Country Club in Yangon on Sunday.

Siddikur scored eight under par 280 (69, 71, 71, 69) after the 4th and final round. In the 4th round, Siddikur played five birdies and two bogies for three under par 69.  

Siddikur played 16 shots more than the champion Shaun Norris of South Africa who scored 24 under par 264 (66, 66, 61, 71).

Earlier, after the 3rd round on Saturday, Siddikur shared the 54th place with five other players scoring five under par 211, 18 shots behind the leader Shaun Norris.

Siddikur played three under par (69) in the first round and one under par (71) in both the 2nd and 3rd round.
