Shooter Shakil Ahmed bags 4th gold for Bangladesh
Dhaka: Bangladeshi shooter Shakil Ahmed won gold medal in the men’s 50-meter pistol in the 12th South Asian Games.
He scored 187.6 to win gold medal of the event.
This is the 4th gold medal for Bangladesh in the 12th South Asian Games after two golds in swimming and one in weightlifting.
On 7 February, Lifter Mabia Akhter Simanta clinched the first gold medal for Bangladesh in the women’s 63-kg weight category of weightlifting and Mahfuza clinched first gold medal in the Women’s 100-metre breast.
On 8 February, Bangladesh swimmer Mahfuza Khatun Shila clinched her 2nd gold medal in the Women’s 50-metre Breast Stroke.
