BCB announces 15-member squad for Afghan T20 series
Bangladesh Cricket Board on Sunday announced the 15-member squad for their forthcoming Twenty20 International series against Afghanistan in Dehradun, which is scheduled to start from 3 June.
Pacer Taskin Ahmed, opener Imrul Kayes and batsman Nurul Hasan have been dropped from the series, while Mosaddek Hossain has been called back.
Bangladesh squad: Sakib al Hasan (captain), Mahmudullah (vice-captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Sabbir Rahman, Mosaddek Hossain, Ariful Haque, Mehedi Hasan, Nazmul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Abu Hider, Rubel Hossain and Abu Jayed.
Earlier, Afghanistan toured Bangladesh in 2016 for a three-match ODI series. Bangladesh won the series 2-1.
