Croatian model Nives Celsius willing to quit stripping if her team win trophy
It’s probably not what the Croatia team want to hear, but a busty model has vowed to wear more clothes if they win the World Cup.
The bizarre proposal comes from Nives Celsius - the ex-wife of former Croatia international Dino Drpic - who wants her home nation to win so much that she is even willing to cut down on posting her favourite half-naked selfies.
Nives uploaded a number of revealing pictures to Instagram after the semi-final win over England.
But should Luka Modric and Co topple France, her followers will instead be treated to photos of herself ‘modestly dressed’ for the next five months.
She explained: ‘If Croatia win the World Cup I promise I’ll put on more clothes than ever and be modestly dressed until the end of the year, reports the Sun.
‘I’m always half naked and I like it.
‘I think this is a big sacrifice, especially now during the summer.’
Nives’ faithful 238,000 Instagram followers will be given one last steamy hurrah, though.
She said: ‘For the final match I shall prepare my last sexy photo for this year, with less clothes than ever before.’
In the saucy snaps Nives posted before Croatia’s win over England , she has ‘CRO’ written on her cleavage while wearing a part-open red dressing gown.
The 36-year-old ex-Playboy bunny captioned one post: ‘There are those rare moments when we are happy, when it is irrelevant whether the bills are paid or we are ill, when it seems to us all that only the sky is the limit. And that is when our Croatia national football team is playing.
‘So my dear Brits, I’m sorry, but Croatia has to be a world champion because we deserve it!’
Nives was married to former Dinamo Zagreb defender Drpic for nine years but the couple divorced in 2014 after falling out of love.
The model - who also works as a singer, actress and award-winning author - confessed she has a crush on England ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek during this summer’s tournament.
His full-time tears as her native Croatia downed the Three Lions pained Nives to see.
She said: ‘I hope England win the third place play-off. It was a very sad moment watching Ruben crying.’
