Sri Lanka: Sri Lanka's Test captain Dinesh Chandimal's participation in the Asia Cup is in doubt after he sustained a broken finger in the recently concluded SLC T20 League.

His condition will be assessed this week, with a decision on whether he is able to take part in the tournament in the UAE based on that assessment, reports the ICC.

Off-spinner Akila Dananjaya will not travel with the team to the UAE as he will be attending the birth of his first child. He is expected to join the team later on the tour.
