The left-arm debutant Abu Hider was given the other new ball by his captain, and he took his maiden ODI wicket of Ihsanullah.

Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh on Thursday in Match 6 of the Asia Cup 2018 in Abu Dhabi.
