India won the toss and they opted to bowl first in super four opener of the Asia Cup on Friday.

‘Played a few games here and it gets better to bat under lights and we like to chase,’ said Indian skipper Rohit Sharma says. ‘That’s been the team’s strength. The pitches are similar to India. One change. Ravindra jadeja comes in for the injured Hardik Pandya’.

‘Would have liked to bat anyway,’ said Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza. ‘Sometimes it’s good after a bad game you don’t have to think much. Today is an important match, first game of the Super Fours. Mushfiqur comes in and so does Mustafizur. Mominul misses out and so does Abu Hider’.

Bangladesh: 1 Liton Das, 2 Nazmul Hossain, 3 Shakib Al Hasan, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), 5 Mohammad Mithun, 6 Mahmudullah, 7 Mosaddek Hossain, 8 Mehidy Hasan, 9 Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), 10 Rubel Hossain, 11 Mustafizur Rahman

India: 1 Rohit Sharma (capt), 2 Shikhar Dhawan, 3 Ambati Rayudu, 4 Dinesh Karthik, 5 MS Dhoni (wk), 6 Kedar Jadhav, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 9 Kuldeep Yadav, 10 Jasprit Bumrah, 11 Yuzvendra Chahal
