‘Attitude of Rashid Khan after Nawaz’s wicket was disgusting’
Afghanistan spin sensation Rashid Khan has been making headlines for all the right reasons with his splendid performances, both with the bat and the ball, but has upset Pakistani fans for a send-off gesture he made after dismissing Mohammad Nawaz and Asif Ali of Pakistan in the Super Four fixture on Friday.
The fans didn't hold back their anger over Rashid's act and decided to launch a scathing attack on the 20-year-old on Twitter.
The Afghans have been doing a pretty decent job in Asia Cup, having secured convincing victories over Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, with Rashid playing a crucial role in all those wins.
The Pakistan match might have ended in a narrow defeat but Rashid was the pick of the bowlers for his team again, bagging 3 wickets in 10 overs for 46 runs, reports the timesnownews.com.
Rashid khan is a good bowler but arrogance cost Afghanistan the game. After bowling out Nawaz he was arrogant with his gestures and next ball he was hit for 6 by number 9 batsmen. Be humble buddy you are not Shane warne #PakvAFG #asiacup2018 #PakvsInd @Gameonha

What upset the fans, however, was Rashid's send-off for Nawaz after he dismissed the batsman clean bowled. Twitter urged the youngster to stay humble with his on-pitch dealings and started giving the Afghanistan spin-wizard some important advice.
Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed had admitted in the post-match presentation that his side was shaken with the sort of bowling display Afghanistan had produced in Abu Dhabi.
‘We were shaken! Credit to Imam, Babar and the way Shoaib played towards the end, that was fantastic. The spinners they have, I reckon they're the best in the world. Against them, to chase 250 in these conditions, you have to bat out of your skins.
Shadab couldn't pass his fitness test. Got a lot of confidence the way we won today. Team has been motivated by this performance.
Our fielding has improved in last one and a half years, but today it went awry,’ the Pak captain had said.
