Dhaka: Bangladesh national cricket team, led by proud skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, returned home after a ‘successful tour’ in the final of the Asia Cup against India in UAE.
The team on Saturday night reached the Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport in Dhaka at 11:30pm by a special flight.
Bangladesh team was received cordially at the airport but, the faces of Mashrafe and his troops were seen pale.

It was a mixed bag for the Tigers in terms of performance and there were a lot of incidents on and off the field, making the competition of Asia Cup a memorable one.
Soon after arrival at the airport, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza expressed his opinion over the tour saying, ‘I have seen a strong mentality among the players which is a good sign.’

‘They fought till the end. Although, there were lots of limitations but, they had a tendency to win. They should feel proud about themselves. The players understood that where was their drawback. That was very important.’

‘I am not frustrated. I am proud of the boys. But, I will be frustrated later if I miss this speed among them,’ Mashrafe said.
