ICC chief Shashank Manohar in Dhaka
Dhaka: International Cricket Council (ICC) Chairman Shashank Manohar arrived here on Wednesday on a three-visit to Bangladesh at the invitation of Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan, reports the UNB.
The BCB chief received the ICC chairman on his arrival in Dhaka along with his wife Varsha Manohar.
The ICC boss will spend a busy day on Thursday, starting with a visit to the National Mausoleum at Savar at 10am to pay homage to the martyrs of the 1971 War of Liberation.
He will make a courtesy call on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban office in the evening before attending an official reception hosted by the BCB in his honour at hotel Le Meridien.
Shashank Manohar will pay tributes to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in Dhanmondi on Friday morning.
In the evening, the ICC chairman will witness the final of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
