World Cup 2019: New retro design revealed as Australia’s kit
Yet another retro-inspired design has been unveiled as the kit Australia will defend the Cricket World Cup in.
Manufacturer ASICS released the uniform on social media on Tuesday, less than two months out from the showpiece event, reports foxsports.com.au.
Glenn Maxwell donned the fresh set of pyjamas which are predominantly in Australia’s famous canary yellow.

The kit includes a collar in lime green, which extends down the cuffed sleeves and the sides of the shirt.
Although retro-inspired, Australia has only played in similar designs before. Darker shades of green have usually been adopted in recent years.
Australia revived a kit from the 1980s - which received rave reviews - when it played against India in January.
The positive response from both players and spectators led to a fan-voted competition on what retro kit would be revived for next summer.
There wasn’t a vote held for Australia’s World Cup kit, though.
