Eid brings no joy to cricket sensation Mustafizur Rahman’s family as his cousin died being electrocuted on Thursday at Tetulia village in Satkhira.

It was a happy scenario at Mustafiz's house on the Eid day. All the members of Musfiz’s family were busy on Thursday morning; some were taking preparations for Eid prayer, some were cleaning the household, women of the house were busy in the kitchen.

It was all going good until the motor of the electric water pump placed in newly built two-storey building went into a stall. Motahar Hossain, a cousin of Mustafiz, tried to repair the motor. He got electrocuted while working with the power cable.

He was taken to Nalta hospital where he breathed his last.
