Bangladesh archer Shamoli Ray appeared 53^rd among 64 participants at the Women’s Recurve Bow event in the Rio Olympic Games 2016 on Friday night. Her score was 600.

South Korean Choi Mi-sun topped the list with 669 score in this Ranking Round of the competition.

This Ranking Round mainly schedules who will meet whom in the main event.

Shamoli will face Gabriela Bayardo of Mexico (12^th in the Ranking Round) at 12:30am Bangladesh time on 11 August.

Shamoli, hailing from Narail and a Bangladesh Army sportsperson, is taking part in Olympic Games for the first time. She took part in Asian Archery Championship in Bangkok in 2015 and World Archery Championship in Turkey, Asia Cup in Bangkok, and Incheon Asian Games in 2014.
