Bangladesh concede defeat against India in Kabaddi WC

Dhaka: Bangladesh conceded 57-20 points defeat against defending champions India in their 2nd match of the 12-team Kabaddi World Cup at the state-of-the-art stadium in the Indian city of Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
It was the first victory for hosts India in their 2nd match after conceding 32-34 defeat against South Korea in the opener. Bangladesh Kabaddi team which made a flying start outplaying England by 52-18 points in their first match on Saturday, also made a good start scoring the first match point and played to 4-4 in the early first of the match.
But in the later part of first half, Bangladesh totally collapsed to concede a lona and were settled for 27-10 in the first half.
Earlier, Bangladesh have been placed in Pool A along with defending champions India, South Korea, Australia, England and Argentina while Pool B teams consists of Iran, Thailand, Japan, USA, Poland and Kenya.
In the remaining Pool A matches, Bangladesh will play South Africa on October 13 at 9:30pm, Australia on 17 October at 9:30 pm and Argentina 19 October at 8:30pm.
All the matches will be held on round robin league basis and later top two teams from each of the pool will qualify for semi-finals.
