Dhaka: Bangladesh golfer Siddikur Rahman is going to feature in the US$300,000 Yeangder Heritage starting at National Golf Country Club in Thailand on Thursday.

Ahead of the tournament, the 32-year-old golfer showed his eagerness for the 3rd title saying, "I'm hungry to win my third title on the Asian Tour."

"I'm feeling more confident. If I can be fit, I think the result will come. In order to get good result, you need to stay fit. I don't train much anymore. I focus more on my fitness and practicing lesser," Siddikur was talking to Asian Tour on Wednesday.

Siddikur is confident to do better in Thailand as he showed a stronghold to place tied 9th in the US$1.37 million Panasonic Open Japan that ended on Sunday last (Apr 23).

"It was the first time I performed so well in Japan. I holed many putts and I'm very happy with my game."

"I've been putting myself in that position so I think my time will come again soon. I've been playing really good this year. I finished 2nd at the Bashundhara Bangladesh Open and I finished top-10 in Japan," the two time Asian Tour winner said.
