Dhaka: Bangladesh score 213 runs by 35 overs with losing four wickets at the first one-day international in the three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur, Dhaka on Thursday. 

Bangladesh lost quick three wickets of Tamim Iqbal, Litton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim soon after resuming the match which was interrupted due to rain. 

Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan and Sabbir Rahman are batting to give Bangladesh a handsome score. 

Indian bowler Ashwin grabbed the three crucial wickets of Bangladesh to shorten Bangladesh innings. 

Depending on two fifties of Tamim and Soumya, Bangladesh built the innings. 

Tamim Iqbal scored 60 runs by 62 balls, debutant Litton Das only eight runs and Mushfiqur Rahim five runs.

Soumya Sarkar sent back to the pavilion by run out after scoring crucial 54 runs with spending 40 balls. 

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza won the toss and decided to bat against India in the first One-Day International (ODI) of their three-match series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur, Dhaka on Thursday.

Private satellite channel Gazi TV telecast the match live that kicks off at 3:00pm. 

Batsmen Tamim Iqbal and Soumya Sarkar are batting to give Bangladesh a strong opening stand.

Liton Das and Sabbir Rahman are the 117th and 118th players to play ODIs for Bangladesh. They have left out Rony Talukdar, Mominul Haque and Arafat Sunny from their squad.

On the other hand, India have left out Axar Patel, Stuart Binny, Ambati Rayudu and Dhawal Kulkarni, which means the same XI as the WC semi-final except for Bhuvneshwar Kumar coming in for the injured Mohammed Shami.  

It will be a real acid test for the Tigers as expectations are very high whereas the Tigers fans are concern, since they are 'banglawash' to Pakistan in ODI series, the partisan fans believe Bangladesh are capable of repeating similar result against the star-studded India, but in reality India are far more consistence performers in both Test and ODI version.

Bangladesh, however, managed a creditable draw against India in one-off Test and boosting by the performance in the last home series against Pakistan the host expecting a positive result against India in ODI series as well.
