Dhaka: Tigers have sealed the first series victory for Bangladesh against India beating India by  six wickets in the second ODI of the three-match ODI series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

Shakib Al Hasan was the highest run scorer for Bangladesh with unbeaten 51 runs. Besides, Liton Das scored 36, Soumya Sarker 34, Mushfiqur Rahim 31 and  Sabbir Ahmed was not out for 22 runs.

Earlier, India were all out for 200 runs in 45 overs. Shikhar Dhawan was the highest scorer for India with 53 runs. Skipper Dhoni added 47 runs.

Left handed pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who took five wickets in the first ODI, bagged six wickets in today’s match. Nasir Hossain  and Rubel Hossain took two wickets each.

Mustafizur Rahman is the first bowler to take 11 wickets in career’s first two ODI matches with at least five wickets in each match.

Earlier, Zimbabwean bowler Brian Vitori took 10 wickets in his first two matches against Bangladesh.

India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and decided to bat first in the second match.

India, seeking to stay alive in the three-match series, made three changes from Thursday’s first one-dayer, bringing in Ambati Rayudu, Axar Patel, Dhawal Kulkarni for Ajinkya Rahane, Umesh Yadav and Mohit Sharma.

Bangladesh, who won the first match by 79 runs, fielded an unchanged squad.

The third and final ODI will be held at same venue on 24 June.
