Dhaka: The Team India will face a rampaging Bangladesh in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) of the series at Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday. The Tigers have already completed a historic series victory, and have now been undefeated at home in their last 10 ODIs.

Can Tigers do it?

For India, a gruelling tour is finally at an end, which has been a nightmare for them so far.

India can blame the rain for not winning in the one-off Test. But, things have changed upside down as soon as the Tigers change their dress. In the first two games of the ODI series, the men in blue were outplayed by the young, energetic and talented Bangladesh team.

On each occasions, Indian batsmen failed to bat out 50 overs. Their bowlers, except the spinners to some extent, looked clueless against the rampaging Bangladesh batsmen. Basically, there was no contest in the first two games.

The Tigers will take the ground as favourites at Mirpur at 3:00pm local time. It means the treat of a ‘White-wash’ or as people say in Bangladesh—‘Bangla-wash’ looms over the Indian team. What a glorious moment will it be for Bangladesh cricket if they manage to send India home without a single win on the tour.

Can Mustafizur work his magic again?

Unarguably, Mustafizur Rahman, the 19-year old left-arm pace bowler, is a great find for Bangladesh team in the series. The youngster with his ‘unplayable’ off-cutter, slower deliveries rattled the Indian batsmen in both matches. The teenage sensation bagged 11 wickets with two five-wicket haul from the matches. The Tigers’ fans are waiting for another Mustafizur magic on Wednesday.

Mashrafe, the key role player

Behind the success story of Bangladesh, skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has played key role. He may not have contributed significantly with bat and ball, but his aggressive and animated leadership spurred Bangladeshi cricketers to do their best, said Sandipan Banerjee, a reporter at CricketCountry.com.

Mash, as he is known among his teammates, instilled his passion into the whole team and they played as a unit.

The Tigers, on Wednesday, will come out with same amount of aggression and hunger they showed in the previous matches. They will not be complacent merely with the series win. The team Mashrafe want a 3-0, a Banglawash.

Team India will fight hard

For Indian skipper MS Dhoni the story is quite different from his Bangladeshi counterpart.

The game is going to be huge for the Indian team and Dhoni’s ego.

‘Just four years back he won the World Cup, now they are one the verge of being white washed in the hand of Bangladesh. If India fails to win it, Dhoni’s captaincy career will be under serious threat. This has already become the lowest point of his career’, reported Sandipan Banerjee.

A rain soaked match, anyone’s expecting?

So far, weather has been merciful causing only one interruption during the first game and a couple of interruptions during the second ODI. But a lot of weather activity is expected on Wednesday.

There are chances of rain and thundershowers in the afternoon and in the evening. Cloudy weather is likely to persist throughout the course of the match. According to the Meteorology department, moderate to heavy showers are likely in the first half of the match. So, multiple and frequent interruptions can be expected in Dhaka during the third ODI.

When the tour schedule was prepared, a reserve day for each match had been in place, keeping interruption of rain in mind.

Bangladesh Cricket Board was lauded by the Indian board and media for the move. Do the men in Blue still want a reserve day?
