Bangladesh very competitive side: Kohli

India skipper Virat Kohli addressed the media on Wednesday ahead of ICC Champions Trophy semi-final against Bangladesh on Thursday.
‘Bangladesh have really improved as a team. They have taken huge strides in the last couple of years. You can never take any opposition lightly’, says Virat Kohli.
‘Bangladesh are among the top eight teams in the world. They have a lot of skilled cricketers. The other day they were outstanding when they chased the total down. They are a very competitive side’, says Virat Kohli, reports the NDTV.
‘Our opposition can be anybody, we are not thinking about that’, says Virat Kohli.
‘We are happy to reach the semi-finals. Credit goes to the players. We are good limited overs side, We have reached the semi-finals of the last 3 big tournaments, Hopefully, we will reach the finals’, says Virat Kohli.
India have 26 of their 32 ODIs against Bangladesh, suffering just five defeats with one no result.
But Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza believes wins such as the one over New Zealand will bolster the side’s already growing self-belief.
‘In the last three years we keep improving a lot,’ he said. ‘This sort of performance really help us to move forward, especially with the 2019 World Cup (in England) coming up.’
