It was a big opportunity missed for us: Mashrafe

A big opportunity was missed at the ICC Champions Trophy, said Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
Mashrafe revealed this during the press conference after Bangladesh squad returned home on early Saturday.
An Emirates Airlines flight carrying Bangladesh team landed at Hazrat Shah Jalal International Airport in Dhaka at about 9:45am on Saturday. The flight, however, was delayed one hour.
‘It was a great feeling when we reached the semi-final. Dejection followed as we failed to capitalise the big chance’, said Mashrafe.
Tigers captain said, ‘It was great achievement for the team to be in the semi-final. But, we lost a big chance too. However, we’ll be able to hold on to better chances tol come in future.’
When asked for his comment on defeat against India in the semi-final Mashrafe said, ‘If our bowlers and batsmen could do their job, we would be successful’,
However, the experience will come into help for future series, commented Mashrafe.
